is a film & TV writer originally from Sacramento, California, the birthplace of Tower Records (RIP). Regarded as a top MLB prospect in Little League, his dream of playing professional baseball was dashed when the growth spurt he was promised in high school never materialized. Shifting gears, he moved to New York City to pursue a more realistic career path, earning his BA in journalism from NYU. But after graduating at a time when magazines and newspapers were folding almost daily, he made the perilous pivot to another impossible career path, earning his MFA in Dramatic Writing from the Tisch School of the Arts.
Since moving to LA, Zac’s original comedy pilot, GOING SANE, was optioned by Echo Lake Entertainment and he’s currently rewriting their feature project, based on a true white-collar crime story, SMOKE & MIRRORS. He’s also written for the upcoming third season of go90’s mockumentary web series, THE 5TH QUARTER and continues to develop new comedy and drama projects for film and TV.
